Ford 3000 rear tire fluid

I have recently been given a Ford 3000 tractor, diesel with 12x28 rear tires. The left rim was in such bad shape that I had to replace it, I got the new rim with tire and tube on it, but now I need to put the water and antifreeze in it before winter. I am able to borrow the valve and pump for this but I am not sure how much fluid total I need to put in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

right or wrong I put the valve stem to the top I put fluid in until it runs out of the valve then quit then a little air to make it stand up right

The best balist for not rusting rims is beet juice. It does cost more but it's well worth it in the long run. You can get put in at some ag tire shops. It is also heaver than regular fluid.
