Great pictures Sweet! Those late planted soybeans look like they caught up. Are they setting pods?

The Red,

Thanks!
Yes, they are setting pods. Will have to look to see if there are actually any beans in them. Hope so... want our renter to do well.

Larry N.,
Thanks very much.

Out of curiosity... looked up West Nile virus. Mayo Clinic website says that less than 1% of people get a more serious reaction needing treatment - that many folks will have it and not even know it.

Take care and take it easy a few days. :)

Where in Minnesota are you located?
I have been in Minnesota when it was 30 below and when it was 100 in the shade.
I used to junkyard hopp quiet often up there when I drove the truck. Made stops in several places all over that state, and I liked it a lot.
I drove for the Pillsbury Company fur aboot 20 years, been off the road now 22 years.

Here is an example of sun angle! We were walking a path and I noticed the sunset was going to be excellent, but I had the wrong lens on my camera. I came around a bend, bent down and focused on the tall grass.

Seeing the open field and the tractor sitting there makes me imagine it working the fields behind it almost a 100 years ago.

Great pictures Sweetfeet.

Pete 23,

Really neat. I love the bright flowers against the backdrop of the old, grey barn.

omahagreg,

Thanks for sharing. That is really cool. I have never shot anything quite like that - will have to watch for something like it.

Seems like since I got interested in photography, I see the whole world in "pictures" anymore.

Thanks.

Well my husband will be happy to hear that...
He wanted to park it there and let the grass grow tall around it - sort of like the old girl just got driven out of the field after working one day - then was forgotten about.

Thanks, Shadetree.

I think those clouds helped reflect the light or something. It was the most golden sunset I have seen this summer.
