Well the MRI came out good no stroke and the stent was not put in due to finding no blockage so her heart attack was caused by stress over falling down and her fighting to get up and she lost the fight to get up which caused her to have the heart attack.
y computer on the other hand is still down and I will not have one till Monday. Going to be trading my old one in for a updated Dell of about the same year and all my info will be down loaded to it and cost me $75 for all that. So at the Library again for a little then home to see if I can find more of my washed out driveway

Hey Old, My parents needed help with falls to. I put garage door handles at every door (inside of the house) so they could have something to help steady themselves...I have been thanked several times, it has really helped them. Just a thought. I am hopeing for a quick and complete recovery. Good luck with you'r puter trouble too, and for a driveway to be proud off. I normally use the JD-A with 3-point rear blade, but for big jobs I get the INT. 756 out.

Your drive sounds like it had severe hydraulic distribution. That motor blade will get a little use today. Best of luck, and great news on the Mom front. Jim

Good news on your mom. Hope everything turns out ok. Went to Rolla last weekend only to find 44 was shut down. Take care.

Glad she is ok. Might be time for the alert thing you mom will wear around her neck. If she falls, she pushes a button for help. Stan

That's what I was thinking too. My mother fell a few years ago (She's 84 now) and broke her hip. She always carries a cordless phone or her cell phone with her when she goes outside to check her garden or such. She dialed my sister who lives a block away (retired nurse) and she went and took care of everything with the ambulance etc. I have offered to pay for the call button and she doesn't want one, has the cell phone to use. Maybe get your mom one of those cordless phones if she has a land line. They are pretty small now for a pocket or apron.

Good to hear about your Mom. Now- as for the computer. You can get a new tower for a few hundred with a bigger memory and higher speed. Might be worth looking into. As for the lane, well good luck. If you're lucky, the guv will give you some emergency funding.....

My mom had a couple falls when she was around 80. I told her that she needed the call button, but she would not agree to it. Finally I got it for her anyway and next thing I knew she was proudly showing it off to everyone.

Glad things are getting better. Now I feel really guilty about telling the police in North Charleston where you live.:).....I think maybe I need some new material.
Ron

I think it has been way to many years for them to even be thinking about me and going to fast on that interstate back in the late 70s LOL

Ya if all goes well I will have my computer back on Monday and be back up and running from home. I hate having to drive to town just to check e-mails etc

Ya last week it was the 15 inches of rain and my driveway washing out that I still need to fix. Then this week my mom falling and having a heart attack and being in the hospital and the computer dyeing so yep things come in 3s I guess.
On the Library computer again then this afternoon working on the driveway so when my mom can come home we can get her to her home with out having to have her in a truck to get her home

Yes some how when you have 18 inches of water running down the driveway it for some odd reason moves a lot of gravel and also makes ruts where you do not want them.
Been trying to get to the driveway but having to spend a lot of time at the hospital seem to leave little or no time for road work.
At least they did not find any major problems with my moms heart so she should be coming home soon but I have to have the driveway fixed before she gets home so a catch 22

I too have a long drive way and it still amazes me how easily and how much gravel a heavy amount of rainfall can move that stuff. Now if it would only flow backwards for awhile, it would all be hunky dory! I'm going to have to get the box blade out when it stops down here and try to dress it up a bit or swmbo will start whining because it's not smooth as glass for her little car to run on.

I have a relatively short gravel driveway, but part of it is very steep. Each spring I put a little water bar across it, and at least once every summer it prevents it from washing out. Before the ground freezes I smooth it back out.
