My Dad's MD

Here are a couple of pictures taken Friday of my dad, he is 88, on his MD. He built the 3 point hitch and painted the tractor in 1978 and added the live pump for hyd. and ps several years ago. He has a MTA diesel and Super MD also. He is the best!

Looks like the paint may have faded a bit, but the man's
skills with mechanics and that blade are sharp as a tack!
God bless him with many more years!

No wonder he is that old and still running a tractor. He has to be proud of his machinery if it all looks as good as that MD. He gets a A plus rateing in my book.

Good looking machine. It's good that he's active at his age. It does seem to keep people young. I'm sure a lot of folks would like the specs on his modifications. They look like they are well done and very useful.

Thanks for posting Garry. Nice pics of your Dad and his tractor. I can't see a dent anywhere on the sheet metal. The little piece is in the grill. Power steering. Fenders. Live hyd. Dandy pump mount. Ho-made (NICE) three point. Everything nice and neat. I like the way he has the wheel centers reversed and the weights on the inside. He's putting the fine grade on that driveway. I see that I could learn a lot from him. You're blessed to have him with you!

No offense to anyone, I like "show" tractors just fine, but I like good straight "working" tractors like this one the best!

Your Dad's appreciation, care and desires for his Farmall
diesels shows a form of character not often seen in our
American Culture these days. It was people like him who
established our country, let's hope and pray there are enough
like him around to save it.
