Woulda Shoulda

I woulda shoulda mounted the loaded tires and rims on Oliver 77 that has been setting with the rear tires of for two or more years. I slid them off the trailer and put one on only to not be able to find all the clamps. Put them in a bucket of coffee can or something. Had the rim up and in place before going right to where I put them, put them, put them some where, thought it was here or maybe there, no. Oh well here is a few.

Hang it on with the loader.

push the bottom in with the loader.

tighten the clamps I could find.

Even a crippled up old man can change loaded tires.
Now to spend some time hunting more clamps. Should be enough for three more Oliver tractors out there somewhere.

Dick, Just go to town and buy new ones ! When you come home and install them you will find your missing ones soon. ☺

Been there done that, hope you find the clamps.

Had a clamp fly off my Case VAC one day toward the back wall of the shop as I was taking the wheel off. Looked for hours and got my wife to look as she always finds what I can't. Gave up and stole one off a friends junk tractor. Six months later, was out in the yard below my shop and stepped on something. Yep, It was the clamp. No way it could have gone out the door and landed where it was.

Looks like those centers need to have a few notches cut in them to enable you to just lift the tire/rim with a chain around it.

KNOW the feeling!
One of these days my clamps are going to show up to put the stock rims back on my Oliver 88.
Don't know when yet

Believe me I have lost a lot also in the last year also. I have to push real hard to do all the things I just love to do.
I still get up at five every morning but instead of getting under way in a half hour it now takes an hour and a half ta two at best.

I don't think they pay any attention to people blowing their horns. They might look up. :)^D
