hydraulic filter

I am trying to find the hydraulic filter on a 1963 Massey Ferguson 35 deluxe with a gas engine I don't know if that matters I read it was behind the pto lever plate but I can't see anything behind either side plates is the filter easy to see if it is there or do you have to feel around for it . Is it at the bottom or in the area of the plate thanks1 for any help you might be able to give me

a little newer than your 35, but little has changed

Thanks I will check it out I don't have any lines coming out of the plate if that's what you mean if it is not there does that mean I have to remove the seat and take the top off if so is there any parts that will come apart when lifting the top thanks

I removed the seat and took the top off but I couldn't see any filter I can see a tube coming out of the pump on the dipstick plate side is this what the filter should be on or is there another spot it should be on the pump the tube is just below the bottom of the dipstick plate.
