More flooding..

Same old same old..flash flood in Nashville and central Tenn. All the water comes down the Cumberland. Just talked to the Corps. Going to be a close call on about 650 acres of nice beans.
They are saying WITHOT any more rain things will peak tomorrow night right at the edge of the field but weather forecast is calling for 2 to 3 inches more in the next 24 hr so more than likely will loose that part of the crop. Just a late spring I guess
 
Sounds like it's a good thing I went down there last week. A few overnight showers,but nice for the most part.
Lee still wasn't done entirely with first cutting hay. Wonder how that's coming along?
 
Well ever day since you left it has rained or in the forecast. Last night I looked and chances were better than 50% here thru next Tuesday. Guy that cuts this here at the house is just on hold for better weather. Most of the rain or flooding was a little west of where you were.
 
Seams like you guys have floods like we have fires here on the left coast. Another big fire about 60 mi north of where I live. Stan
 
Randy its going about like a cat eating a grindstone.....a little at a time.Rolled a little sat.Damp since ,got 2 plus inches today more expected tomorrow.I wont complain though,its better than no rain.
 
I am 70 + and for years lived here on the river with the occasional small flood but in the last three years we have had what they call two floods of the century and several more overflows. Just goes with the crazy weather all over the country.
Last year July & August broke 100 year temp records and now this year more like spring temps all summer. Just has not been hot at all. Normally by August we are down to mowing the yard about ever 10 days , so wet now can,t even go 7 days. Crazy weather
 
crazy is right. Hickman Co. had hot sun, terrific T-storm, bright sun this afternoon. TDOT was cleaning ditches & dumped 2 loads of dirt in a big hole in the pasture. Tandem trucks had just come up out of the steep grassy slope when downpour came. Close timing.
 
Ya got up this morning to pouring rain. Rain gauge says at least 2 inches and it did not start raining till some time after 7am so way to much way to fast. My driveway is looking like a creek right now and they are calling for rain most of the day
