John Deere 6' rotary mower: need parts list

Would appreciate any help sent my way. We need blades and a couple other items. Don't know much about the unit except its a JD, 6' trailer type (2 wheels in the back). Has a crank to set the heigth of cut in the front, and it has a hydraulic cylinder to lift the entire piece.

#1. You need a model #
#2. Look up JD parts and it will give you the blades available for that model.
#3. After market blades may be available from TSC,YT, and ASC at a lesser price.

Thanks for your response. I am only guessing if I say its a model 407 (nothing visable on the mower)

It may be a 607 or 609. Look at JD parts and punch in that model #....

Look for a small 1X3 shiny tag for info on model maybe on the hitch. chris

Was just over at the neighbors and they have a JD 207 Gyramor, I rebuilt the gearbox(bearings and seals) a few years ago and installed new blades from Deere. chris

This is a 205 model. I have one just like it. You can still get the blades that fit from TSC and most other parts for the slip clutch from JD
