International 2350 loader:

A friend recently bought an International tractor that has a 2350 loader mounted on it. We were looking at it yesterday and can't figure out how to take to loader off. We couldn't find anyplace where legs would be attached to the loader arms to hold it up when removed. It's not a problem to get the loader off, just pull a couple pins, remove hoses and back out from the loader. The problem is, what holds the loader arm up for to mount it next time. The loader on my tractor has two legs that attach to the arms and there it sits ready to mount.
Thinking maybe someone out there has a 2350 loader and could tell us about removing from the tractor.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

The only thing that I could think to do is pound two big posts into the ground, drive the tractor and loader in between the posts, suspend the loader by chains hooked to the posts, un-hook the loader, and back the tractor away. Just a though, sounds like it might work! Bryce

A IH 2350 loader does not use any stands. The loader frame basically slides of and down to the ground to hold the loader. You unlatch the loader and slowly drive back wards. When the loader frame is about half way forward you start to pivot it down or extend the lift cylinders. That will pivot the frame down where it will rest on the ground.

When you go to mount it back you drive forward into the loader. You keep forward pressure against the loader frame with the tractor in a forward gear. Slowly retract the lift cylinders. The loader frame will slide on the front mount. When you have it about half way back on the frame you level the loader frame with the lift cylinders. Then you slide the frame back into the saddle. Latch it and your good to go.

Here is a picture of a IH 2350 off the tractor.

Well he could use posts I guess. LOL Why not just dismount the quick tach loader the way it is supposed to work. The main frame just sets on the ground. The IH is a very good and easy quick tach loader.

I think a manual would be a good purchase.

Just like JD said. I can take mine off or on in five minutes. Mine I bought new had a short set of hoses for bucket tilt. Uncouple those and take to the front. Uncoil the long hose set, for loader lift, pull hoses in front of rear tire and back away.
Mine is almost a two man job to put on anymore. One guy to pry the rear of the loader in or out a little to go into the rear mount.
