OT - The boy's bad car luck continues! (pic)

A week and a half ago or so I told you guys how the boy's car
luck was not going too well. Original post is here: YT Post
His car is still not fixed, I've had it in the shop yesterday and today.
So today he borrowed mom's car to go see his girlfriend.
He made it a little over half a mile before he met an adult deer.
Besides the obvious, it took out the radiator, AC and the front mount.
Probably got the upper motor mount brackets, etc too.
Hood is jammed shut so I didn't bother to pry it open.
No injuries except to the deer, so just another car story.

A couple of weeks ago, this one met a Deere, also. Dumb bunny figured she could run under the front wheel of a sprayer.....

Looks like she succeeded!
Next time she should try running between them.

This would not be a problem if those deer would just cross at the deer crossing signs where they are supposed to! Seems like when it rains it pours, at least no people were hurt.

Royse, It does run in streaks doesn"t it? I remember years ago when I was just outta HS, all within the the course of about a month, my Sis (still in HS), my Father, and I had all collected a deer. My Mother is pretty opinionated and consistently let us all know it was poor driving on our part. About a year later was out a their house and Dad got a phone call, heard him say "She"s OK?" Then he literally sat down on the grouond and laughed so hysterically he was crying! Mom had just totaled her new Cherokee on a big buck! LOL

Yes sir it does!
As long as no one was injured, the other troubles will go away.
Soon he'll be laughing about it, but not tonight!

My wife had one land on the hood one time. Only damage was to the hood. Got another hood at the junk yard and had it painted and car was as good as new. She had another one jump completely over the car. Only thing it touched was the antenna. No damage. There were so many standing in the road in front of me one night that I stopped. They walked right up and got all around the car. 15 of them. I couldn't move! One good blast of the horn fixed that problem.

My wife and I took the motorcycle out for a ride this past Saturday evening and a deer came out of the corn field and ran along the corn just in front of us for a 1/4 mile. I was doing 40mph and the deer stayed ahead of us. I kept it that way because I was afraid to pass it in thoughts it may cross the road in front of us. At the end of the field the deer ran along the headland away from the oil road. We went another 1/2 mile and seen 4 more deer along the road in a stubble field. They were grazing and stayed put.

Glad ylur boy wasen't hurt. Like my Dad would say it could have been worse. Around here we don't have many deere to worry about, it's the bicycle riders blowing throug stop signs. Stan

Those bike riders like to do that here as well.

That's Nutz ,, But try this one on ,,.. /// Son -I-lgoing to work early am in Mazda sporty car with interrupt valves with piston engine ,, very foggy , goin slow enuf ,,big deer jumped off clif on to his hood and scoop stabbed his antler thru windshield ,hood and valve cover,,, disrupted the worx and stalled the motor ,, with head stuck ,the deer somersaulted his az thru the half open driver s window , shattering it , while throwin the deers az into his face and kikin him in the nuts to get away , son in law , loked up brakes , and forced himself in between seats into rear of the mazda ,, all the whilegettin kicked ..this all happened in a matter of 5 seconds ,..guy following behind him had to lok up the brakes and helped him out of the car,,.the after about 3 minutesthe stunned deer wraggled free , but not before kikin the stuffinm out of seats , Btw ,, Dan got out of the driver seat with the belt still fastened somehow by layin the seat down,, and THE SEAT BELT WAS STILL FASTENED ,,.banging out the dash incluin glove box dash bendin steerin wheel and shifter , andshcitn all over interior ,,just destroyin the fun little MAZDA horribly . but didn't touch the sunroof .. When the deer got free its head was twisted nearly upside down... Dan said it snorted , and bellared side walked and fell in the crrek , it was there for 15 minutes ,, THEN TOOK off Like LITNIN

He sure feels like Murphy's riding shotgun for the past couple weeks!
All you can do is keep on keeping on.
