You all will like this one.

A buddy of mine has a niece that is on disability, (nothing wrong with her I guess, 30 something YO) Well, she won $30,000 in a scratch off lottery ticket and she could only claim $1,000 of it because she is claiming disability with SSI.

A little bit of justice I guess.

If she had a brain she wouldn't be milking the system - nor would she buying lottery tickets.

That's part of the problem. They're edumacated enuf to know how to milk the system, and then too dumb to figure out how to get around the lottery payout by getting someone else to claim it for them....

Ummmm, where is the connection between brain and lottery tickets? I know tons of smart, well educated, well adjusted contributing members of society who purchas a few tx now and then...see no connection whatever to brain or lack thereof...hey all it takes is a "dollar and a dream"! I spend a few bucks a week on lotto and powerball esp. when they are big...occasionally a scratch off! IF I were ever to "hit it big" I could find plenty of things to use my brain on! LOL
