NH BR730 monitor

I just bought a 2003 New Holland BR 730 round baler. The bale monitor did not come with it and checked with the dealer and they told me it would be $700 with the wire harness!!! I know many do not use the monitor/buzzer so was wondering if anyone out there had one laying around? Thank you for your help!

I could see that much for one of the bale command type monitors, but CNH is charging way too much for the buzzer type, if that's what it is. It's just a simple 2 wire harness to a buzzer that beeps when the bale is about to tie, and again when the twine cuts off. Awfully simple device to say it's worth $700....

OOps- just looked at the parts breakdown. It's a lot more complicated than my 644. Some inginear dun got aholt of that thang.........

Salvage yard near Waco, TX has a couple of NH 750"s don"t know if it"s the same monitor. Give it a look.

Electric tie? It's a lot more that a light and buzzer, it's also the control box to tie the bale!

If it's like our older NH 630, it's 4 wires to the baler and hot/ground to the tractor. two wires are for the light/buzzer and the other two are for the electric tie.

an industrious person could make a control box, only "weird" part is the double throw switch that runs the tie motor (reverses direction)
