Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. I'll be going to Buckley in a few weeks. Wife can't go so I'll get to spend more time looking at tractors and hit-and-miss engines than keeping track of her in the flea market.

Nice pictures Eric. The Allis combine with the corn head?? That is a first for me. Does it have a different cylinder & concave? Can you talk him into bringing it to Rantoul in August 21-25, Half Century Show. Thanks.

Earl

Nice pics Eric, at least it is green. I am not used to seeing green grass at shows in USA! LOL

I took a peek at the cylinder and the bar that was in view had rubber that was missing in the center section of the bar. The near end of the bar had very new looking rubber so I bet they may be special bars. I could not see the concaves.

I'll try to send you an e-mail about the owner coming to Rantoul.

Do you have any idea what the machine with the rear engine and cultivator is? I can see some hydraulics on the front, but can't make out the name tag at all.
I don't see a steering wheel and can't tell where the operator stands or sits. It almost looks like a very well built special purpose home made machine.

Gosh there were a lot of nice looking tractors, both that made the cut, and a sea that didn't. Thanks Eric.

Myron,

I believe the paper sign hanging on it said it was a Friday.

I talked to a lady nearby it and asked her if it was made to
cultivate check rowed corn as it had two shovels that were
moved right/left with your hands. She said she thought it was
intended for vegetable cultivation.

I believe you steered with your feet. There were two moveable
pieces of channel iron with rods at the bottom for your feet.
The left one is visible in the picture, behind the paper sign.

It had a Wisconsin engine.

The corn head was made in the 50s-60s. 312,000 combines, models 60, 66, 72, 90 could use them. 1150 corn heads made. I have a 66 with that head- same model as pictured. Standard cyl.

Thanks, Eric,
It sure threw me for a loop - I couldn't figure out what it was. Really a strange machine, but the explanation makes sense.
