Well I looked at some zero turns today. I'm favoring the Toro 22 hp Kohler (or 21.5 hp Kawasaki) with 42 inch deck or a Husqvarna with 23 hp Kohler and 46 inch deck. $2600 for the Toro with free delivery and closer to $2800 for the Husqvarna (also free delivery). Kind of surprised they were that low in price but again its not a Scag or Hustler. I like the casters on the Husqvarna more since they are bigger but service may be a little harder to get. I also like the deck more as it is 14 guage. The Toro deck does look a little flimsy. Gravely makes a nice looking unit but again not the best service in the area.
 
Guy I know is a TORO and Husqvarna dealer. For the normal buyer he tries getting them into the Husqvarna. He says that he has fewer warranty issues to work on the residential models. Commercials he says are about the same.

We have a Husqvarna 42" lawn tractor with 15 hp Kawasaki, 12 years of 1/2 acre lawn. Other than oil changes, 2 batteries, 1 new set of blades, air filter and 1 belt no other problems. We are very happy with it!
 
I REALLY like my Grasshopper 718. It has the deck out front - which makes for a longer unit, BUT you can take the out-front deck and sneak it under low limbed trees and bushes. They don't like hills with turf tires, though. If your property is very hilly, you'll need to buy lug tires.
