We"re heading over tomorrow night on the boat.(Badger car ferry) We"re staying in Manitowic the first night and heading to a tractor show west of there on Saturday. Any must see attractions over there? It"s not too far from green bay. Anything worth visiting?

Casino. The Oneida in Geen Bay is the only one I've ever been to where I had sense enough to walk away while I was up a few bucks.

I liked that maritime museum and the old submarine tour, to the north is Door county if you like a lot of water and wineries, small towns and fish boils. If you got kids along and some money the Wisc. Dells is a fun place.

We stopped there while waiting for the ferry to go over to Michigan back in 1976. Kids went in the submarine; I'm claustrophobic so I stayed outside.

It was a hot, humid, miserable night going across the lake. Would never do that again!

I second House on the rock
There are so many wierd and interesting gizmoes and content that your sure to be amazed.
My opinion of the Dells is that they were original and cool in the 50s when the water was clean and the attraction was the scenery. Today the attraction is to remove the green in your wallet, while putting up with foam floating on the water.

I love the Dells.LOL When you get there gas and fast food costs an arm and a leg. It is now just a tourist trap. Surprised they don't put nails on the road to keep you there. Just my two cents.

I"ll pick ya up when you get off the boat and we can go to the farm and bale hay all day. It"s a great time...REALLY! And then I"ll feed you all the Point beer you can drink afterwards.

...as they say in Wisconsin...

"There"s no point in drinkin" if ya ain"t drinkin" Point!"

If you have young kids, Bay Beach Park in Green Bay has a very reasonable amusement park with rides aimed at the younger kids.

Manitowoc also has an antique car museum.

Don't forget to get some fresh cheese curds from a local dairy or cheese shop.
