Local man retired and auctioned off his farm and heavy construction equipment. He also auctioned off his farm ground to lease, 1 years. BTO won the bidding at $340 an acre. He has to move his equipment 50 miles to plant this ground. $340 an acre is very high rent for this area. Probably highest in the area

It' been a while since I've done it but you can put location where your name is.

Is it pineapple ground in Hawaii or desert in Arizona. Lots of posts have little meaning without certain information.

I'm glad you mentioned the lack of location to the post.
It would be more appealing if people would give a general location when showing pictures of things they are doing and places they are talking about.
That is my opionin,

In central IL, the $350/acre is not unusual BTO are gobbling it up. We dont get that much, but we have a good tenant, who takes care of our land, and we dont plan on changing tenants soon.

Local BFO just paid $375 for a larger parcel owned by the county near Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Guess all the local BFO's will be battling it out for another piece of ground to add to their lists.....
