I have Ford 851 that I'm trying to find rear tires for. I'm located North of Syracuse Ny, if anybody has any info please get in touch.

thanks

I don't have any but I think they take a 28" tire, either an 11.2, 12.4 or 13.6. Think I have also seen 14.9/24 on Fords sometimes.

LOL
That was the Tractor Talk quiz question of the day and you missed it.
Correct answer gets you a free pair of new Firestone Field and Roads in any size you want.
He's looking for 13.6 X 28. Or at least that's the size that should be on that model.
I'll be looking for the tire truck to show up at my door tomorrow.

I am thinking he is needing the name and address of a dealer that handles tractor tires and correct size is 13.6 x 28

Rusted call Bermuda Ken Updike for a seat spring. Used ones are usually worn out. 608-455-2411. Tire wise millertire.com.

Call MacFadden and Son, in Sharon Spa. NY. (about 2 hrs. east of Syracuse)They are a large tractor salvage yard, and there is a good chance they can hook you up with a near new or even new set for much less than new. 518-284-2090. Ask for Jeff.

Only tires I have are a 14.9/38 and a 15.5/38, both are pretty worn. I do have a seat spring, not sure if it is the same as yours. Mine is the conical big one, if you need the small one for the pipe seat I think they are available but I do not know where. I am 40 miles north of Syracuse NY.

(quoted from post at 22:02:22 07/16/13) I have the tire shop coming tommorow to instal a pair of new 18.4-34 tires on my 930 Case. $790 per tire plus installation. No bargin, but my problem will be solved. Bruce
I put one on the back of my 930.
I decided I could get by with smaller tractors after that!
Anyone ever built a 8N tandem?

Jerry, Give McKee Equipment in Cincinnatus, NY (Near Cortland...kinda) a call, ask for Mike McKee, great guy, we use them exclusively. He sells several brands, but will usually get about the best deal on Firestones (after ine trip down the Titan Rd. we never get anything but Firestones), their service is great, ya drive in with your rims, drop em off, go around the corner have a piece of pie at the diner, or a beer at the bar, come back a tad later and his guys load ya and you are on your way. (607)863-4145 tell him Pete said hi, may save ya a buck or two!
