Thought I'd try posting some pics of our "flat" hay fields that we mowed today. Hope it works, Keith (sorry about the double pic. The 2 alike are of me and the single is my neighbor that helps me alot. Keith

It's mostly Lespidsa (Japanese Alfalfa)that's in bloom. The dead grass I'm not too sure. We're about a month too late cutting due to all the rain we've had this year. Those fields are reclaimed strip mines and this grass grows good on the poor ground. Our horses love it and stay fat on it with small amounts of grain daily all winter. Just have to watch where you kick out a bale cause it'll go to the road or creek before it stops LOL. Keith
 
I agree, sharp looking 255. We've got a 285 that's been weathered a good amount and could use a new coat one of these years. Still runs good though. It's our hay mowing tractor as well.
