1)Fall applied chicken manure that was chiseled 12-14 inches has passed up the adjacent corn that was spread this spring and feild cultivated in at 4.5" and planted 2 weeks earlier. Below that, ground is like concrete, regardless of type.
2)on any lighter soil, plant at 2" not 1.5".
3) Use preemergent on beans and corn, not worth skipping and depending on RR.
4) add AMS to fertlizer program, sooner than later.
5)Grain Belt is still on of the best beers.
6) Jack Daniels with some pepsi makes the fert and spraying bills not hurt so bad, till morning.
7) a goofy landlord will only get goofier to the point YOU tell him to rip up the lease.
8)Kinze bean meters in the 7000 grow much faster than the drilled beans on 12"
9)You lose as much money on 6 cows as you do 30, may as well sell the hay and sell the cows, but odd ball colors, feed em right and sell hanging 1/4"s.
10) Make a stiffer and larger Jack N Pepsi. Good night

Jack and Pepsi? Sounds like a good way to ruin both. I'll take my Jack with water and my Pepsi from the can, thank you.

Lesson learned many years back- the money you spend on booze is gone forever and would have been better spent paying the bills.

I know. Dont drink much. Witnessed too many guys loose farm and family cause of too much booze addiction, but I just enjoy a cocktail now and then, and I love good beer, but have not been intoxicated in probably 18 years.

A shotglass full of nnalert, straight up; chased with a Pepsi and I"m good for another 6 - 8 months. As far as beer is concerned, I don"t like either the smell or the taste; not to mention that my first family were all killed by a beer guzzling drunk driver, (NOT ME!).

I have been known to occasionally sip an elixir for various maladies I have endured. Warm whiskey on a cold winter night has well known and long standing medicinal benefits. Kind of like fuel injector cleaner. Except never on the roadway.
