The wheat harvest in SW Michigan is getting in high gear. Someone most have known something: some fields rival Kansas in size.

If corn got planted early, it looks good even if not irrigated. Later planted stuff is showing serious stress signs. Send rain our way if you are sick of it. We could use and inch or two.

Its the same up here in mid-Michigan. I was up in midland this weekend for a pull and the corn has rolled up because its so dry. Down by m-21 the corn is very short. Beans are lookin good though. In merril I saw a guy just opening his wheat field up.

No wheat being harvested, that I know of, in my area 50 miles North of Detroit. The corn I planted May 12 is over my head and starting to tassel.

There's been some wheat run down here in Branch & Hillsdale Counties. I've heard moisture around 16%. I'm gonna try some of mine tomorrow. This 90F heat out to dry it out some.
