We are finally getting a summer here...Temps are sitting around 25-32C . Unlike last year when all it did was rain. cattle were in the houses eating winter rations at this stage...some never got out again until late this spring. The end of winter and this spring was also unnaturally cold with a stong cold north wind. But Nature has a way of catching up and everything is growing abundantly now..... leaving last year as an unforgotten but distant memory.
It is a bit too hot for our roads though.... the tar is sticking to the tractor tyres!

That tar looks like a problem. How do you get it off? Will it wear off eventually, at least the most of it.

Looks like you need little more rock spread on your road? Looks like it could be a mess with that much tar flinging up on everything?

I have not tried anything yet,,,,we had our couple of days public holiday .....So went partying! I am hoping a hot pressure washer will lift it though some of it has fallen off but the tyres are all rough with tar and I am afraid of wet sticky soil sticking also.

32 C is only 90 F, just typical summer temperatures here. There is something wrong with that blacktop to be breaking up like that.

Currently 92 F at 6 PM and our roads are fine. I have no plans to walk barefoot on them though.
