gator fuel pump??

We have a "05 TH gas.
I have replaced the starter motor and battery and it runs great.

It just stops and first thought is "out of gas" as I have no gauge but it stopped abruptly with no sputter.

It takes 3 gallons (no good) and still won"t start.

Looking at the clear fuel filter it is no where near as full as before and if I choke it never smell fuel.

I am waiting for my manuals but where is the fuel pump and is it an easy fix? Could it be something else?

Thanks,
Bill

My 850D, and I'm not sure what year it even is, was doing that. Turned out to be a bad ground. Everytime the engine fan would turn on, the motor would die. Fixed the ground, hasn't died in 250 hours.

This one is air cooled.

Is it likely electrical to the fuel pump or a bad fuel pump?

Little gas in the fuel filter point me to the pump but I could certainly be wrong.

The parts guy at my local dealer suggested a coil problem could also casue the engine to stop as it did.

I see a spark with the plug removed so I am back to fuel.

I plan to check the fuel line first but asy other thoughts besides the fuel pump?
