Im looking for a 3 row corn head or a gleaner e! Im just starting out what do you guys think about the E the one i got seems to be in good shape! Havent done anyting with it except drive it around! Somedays i think i shoulda just spend more and bought a f2 or something newer! But im on a budget! E was a thousand bucks with 10 ft grain head! I got 22 acers of.corn and 15 acers of beans and 10 acers of oats to do!

Brian Somewhere in there most of the E machines had a header that for better words was held on by two pogo sticks. Some round things that the catch came out the end but right at the end before the EII the headers had a hook at top and snap a bottom, quasi quick attach. Be sure what ever header you pick up attaches as you need. I think the early e s could be adapted. Sure was an improvement if you plan on doing many swaps.

Boy I wish you needed that about a year ago. Dad sold a Gleaner E with a 12 foot head and 3 row corn head, and an F gleaner for about 1500 or 2000 the F was the old short machine. They both wound up going to the junk from what I heard.

Side story-my Dad worked for Wells Implement, Plymouth Nebraska the summer of '61. The first E that Wells sold, Dad delivered and set it up in wheat for the farmer! Dads face lights up when he mentions these stories...!

Google Manzer equipment in Osmond Ne. They are a good Gleaner dealer. They used to have some salvage units and might be able to help with a corn head.
