Forecast called for 20% yesterday and then sunny, breezy and warm today and tomorrow, I mowed 50 acres of brome. It's raining now.

When I went to bed last night the radar showed rain from the
Wichita area up to Emporia and on east...Looks like your area
and on north is getting some pretty good rain right now.

Everyone in my area needs 7-10 days to get caught up.then
we will need rain..Mowing hay seems to bring rain..

Yesterday the weather called for a 40% chance of rain and we ended up with over 5". So much for finishing up beans and starting to cut wheat this week.

Sunday they called for 20% and I had hay down. I went out early afternoon and raked some of it up. Then went to town to town to get gas. Noticed it was clouding up so did my best to make it quick. Jumped on the tractor and baled up what I had raked and just as I was doing the last 2 it started to rain but I did get all that I had raked done before it got very wet. Got all of 2/10s of an inch so not big deal on the rest of the hay I had down
