Paul, He must be a giant Long Haired Shepherd Breed.
Weight is 126 lbs. When he lays between our french doors 5 ft he is longer than they are wide,so we have to two step over him, that's not counting his tail. Height is guestimating around 36" tall at the shoulders, he can sit on the floor and see on top of the counter top. He's my wifes baby.lol.Extremely gentle with family members.Great warning system with anything that comes into the yard or on the deck.

Figured people would also like the scenery pictures, they are taken within 10 miles of our home. The lake is right below us.Glad you enjoyed the photos.

JMOR, For the quietness, you have to take the bitter with the sweet.lol. The exception being the 4th of July holidays along with New Years. Every yokle from The state east and South decides to fire Fireworks at all hours, mostly after 10pm. It does get to be real annoying fast. Thankful for the mostly quiet area though.Winter becomes a blessing of sorts.lol.
Regards, LOU

That is some beautiful country! How is the fishing? I don't think you are alone concerning the fireworks, the same thing happens around here too.

ShadetreeRet,
I really like the country side also, Seems nice to have all the elbow room needed. I haven't been fishing in years. The lake we live by kind of went to pot after all the jet skis and huge motorboats and skiers were a daily experience. Weeds took over and so called neighbors like add cement bags and logs in the culvert at the creek, but that is not my problem. Let the local law enforcement and DNR figure it out.lol.
Used to be the first two weeks in June were the best for fishing northern pike, but now, who knows.lol.

We know about the noise, bad neighbors, can't live with them, and can't shoot em. just kidding,LOL.

All in all, couldn't live in a city,so it's nice to be here.
Thanks for the reply,
Regards,
LOU

Chino loves her as much as she loves Chino. I nominate Chino as YT HOF dog. Behind only Wrigley.

I hope you all get some good heating units and a late frost. Crops look way behind for mid June.

under stand & only wish that we could all be where each wants to be. Enjoy!

We had a collie that weighed about 110, and not fat either. Biggest collie I ever saw. He was as gentle as a lamb with everything except cats. He stalked cats with a passion. He's been gone for 20 years and I still miss him.

We had a Golden Retriever on the reddish side. Wife wanted biggest pup she could find. Maggie grew to 120 pounds and was huge. Slept in the bunk with on the boat. Loved the dolphins playing around the hull. She had a sense of hmor I have neer seen in a dog before.I know how you guys feel about your hairy kids,

The Red,
It sure is behind, but hopefully it does work out for the growers, had a late start thanks to the last snow in May.
Thanks for the reply,
LOU

Gordo,You are right, he is her shadow, checks on her at night before he goes to sleep in my sons room.He thanks you for the nomination.

Paul, I'm sure you do miss your pup. Seems like the bigger they are the more gentler they are. Chino likes most everything, but does like to keep the daughters cat in line, trys to herd him (cat) to a different room by playing soccer with him.lol Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

HenryO,
They all become children, just walk on 4 legs and have a little more hair.lol.With their love, comes protection and sincerity, and other qualities other family members don't produce. Would be too quiet here without a good friend such as him.
Regards,
LOU

Larry, Some people with fireworks have no regard for peace and quiet. Seems like they would be respectful enough to take the fireworks out away from residental areas to make such noise, but guess they never think of others. Thanks for the reply,

LOU
