Here are a couple of pictures of my dads Farmall painted up and waiting for decals. He has been gone a couple of years, but I think of him every day.

You can see the 4020 in the background if you look carefully, it was jealous. I think we will paint it next winter.
 
You will miss him a long time David, my dad's been gone for 12 years.
I can't help but think of him every time I use his tractor or clean
the points or cuss the same habits it has that he used to cuss.
Your tractor is a life long good memory and it looks great!
 
Really nice paint. First time I saw fenders on a Farmall. Is that an M? The seat spring is interesting. Is it comfortable over uneven terrain like the first pass after moldboarding? How about sway? Do you have to hang onto the steering wheel?

It is an H. My dad was a mechanic and body man. He got that on trade from a gentleman that had a stuck 300 and a stuck H. He un-stuck both and kept the H as payment.

It was his tractor to drive after he lost his license.

I have rebuilt the carb, steering, changed every seal and gasket on it, and added live hydraulics.

He started on a 3 point before he died, I will finish it next winter.
 
The seat is really smooth, but I could really use a stronger spring. I guess I am a little heavier than my dad.
 
Really nice looking H. I just finished an H my grandfather bought new in 1942. Having a family tractor is just something special, and lots of guys would love to have dads or grandpas, but they have been scrapped or lost, so it is really special.
 
That is one good looking tractor. Be sure to keep it in the family. My Dad has been gone since 91, and I also think of him often. Stan
 
WOW one nice looking tractor. I'd like to restore my dads JD620 but I use it too much! Can't have the down time. I do think of him every time I use it though. I have a lot of memories on that tractor. just like I'm sure you have of yours.
