I have a john deere 336 baler that I need to know how to adjust the knifes on the pluger itself. Thanks

Yes I do. But it doesn't explaing it a whole lot, and doesn't make much sense

There's an adjustment on the left rear plungerhead brg to get the knives clearance from top to bottom of knives correct and then the LH outside plunger rail has 3 adjustable bolts that are parallel to the ground to move the rail after the bolts that hold rail down are loosened. Care must be exercised to keep rail the same distance from frt to rear of baler.

What part don't you understand? I know it's mabey not real clear... just read it closely and it should explain it tho. IIRC, you have a few settings there for plunger to guide clearance that steps the knife off the plunger itself... then the knife to guide clearance both bottom and TOP. I believe you set the bottom first then use the left side adjustments on the plunger bearing to cant the plunger to get the top setting. Again, just read the procedure carefully as the settings need to be close.
