Saw these on a "womens show" on TV. Nanny cams, designed to spy on your babysetter.

These come disguised as everyday items found in your home, or you can buy the camera unit and hide it in something that blends in your shop. Just make a little hole in something and put the camera inside. Inside an old oil can, oil filter box, anyplace. Range from $75 to $300.

I was wanting to put a game camera in my hunting cabin, but knew any crook would see it an steal it. These are so small and can be put in anything.

Check em out.

The ones I've looked at don't seem to work well in low light.
Something to watch for if you're going to spend your money.
I have an outdoor camera with infrared that works Ok.
But once the IR lights turn on, it's easy for anyone to see.

I have relocated my chamberlain driveway alarms, to the tractor shed and the shop building. I liked knowing when anyone entered, either lane coming to the house, but I was getting a lot of late night deer activity, and the wifes lap dog was going off every time the house unit cheeped. I average one visit a month by tweekers, and gas thieves, and in self defense I built a block outhouse looking building, with a steel door, to keep my gasoline, diesel, and oils in. I was still losing any gas in my tractor tanks, and even the riding lawn mowers. I mounted motion detector lights in the shop, and that stopped the small tool theifts, after 2 chainsaws, one weed eater, and an 8" electric grinder. the tractor shed is hidden from the house, by the shop bldg, and it now has a driveway alarm to alert me. I am not sure what I am going to do If I do catch a thief, but I will bet that they will be a protected spicies!

Infrared trail cams will work. I caught a thief on cam at my farm. He got several things and was charged with a felony. He has bonded out of jail. Someone stole two trail cams. I have another one in a secluded place, I don't think it can be stolen. Roy

They need to start making those with a place to plug a remote in, when the flash goes off, you can have it set up to trigger a bunch of halogen spotlights or strobes.
