What type of oil does everybody use in your antique tractors...?

Although the operator's manual recommends 30W for the majority of our antique tractors, we use 15W-40 Diesel oil in all of them.

I also use rotella 15-40 in both my A and MT.

usually 10w40 - I'm not too particular about brands. I buy what's on sale.

Old Tractors, Old thinking, Old oil. We would change oil three times a year depending on the High/Low Temp. about Nov 10w, Mar 20w, Jun 30w.
#1 Diesel, #2 Diesel. Now one fixes all.

Ditto, problem solved, end of discussion!

WAY better than what was available and recommended in the manuals "back in the day".

Of course, they didn't advise going on the "net for advice, either!
