JD 1 bottom plow - anyone know value - PICS

Just curious what this 1 bottom JD plow may be worth. Don't know the model number off-hand. It is in good working condition. Paint job is old and starting to rust some.

Depends on your area, but around here about $250. Plows have been coming up in value pretty fast lately so I might be a bit low. We used to buy them for $25 out of a fencerow, but those days are gone forever.

It's a # 51 plow and on top of the main beam should be stamped 614. Looks to be pretty nice and maybe restored at one time. If it needs no wear parts then I would say as high as $350. The usual ole rusty ones needing tlc will bring $200- $250.

don't want to say those days are gone forever !!! i can remember when a crosscut saw would sell for a hundred bucks at auction, now they can't give them away.....same with our longaberger baskets, prices are way down...

Good one. Buy it if you can. We do a lot of plowing her in Illinois with our antique tractors. They are not selling new ones.
