Case 831C Tranny Shift

I have a Case 831C. I am having troubles shifting into forward or reverse. It seems as if all the fluids are at the right level. I idle it down to as low as possible in order to grind it in to position. Would anyone have any ideas. Once it is in gear it functions great. Appreciate some things I can try!

What oil are you using in the com? Heavier than
proper oil can cause this. If you page down to the
Case/DB forum there are many experts that will be
happy to help.

I am using Cases oil recommendations, and it is Case oil for the transmission. Not sure of the weight, but I will check again to make it meets specs. Thanks.

That can cause that altho some use it. You should
have some pink trany fluid type in the com for best
results. You should post on the case forum there are
many people on there that know more than me and can
give better answers.
