JD No. 5 Mower Decals

Hi guys it's Bryce. Got my hands on a great JD No. 5 mower and am thinking about restoring it to go with my 47 B. Already have all the brackets, spare parts, paint, all I need is stickers..... I am unclear of what, if any, stickers were used on these mowers? I know that the cover to the chain drive has the yellow letters on it, but other than that was there anything else? Any info or pictures would be greatly appreciated, also would love a picture of how to hook up mower to my tractor, I have the pegs on the draw bar frame, and the big C clamps with rubber cushions. THANKS!!! Bryce

Wow, looks great. How did you apply the JOHN DEERE No. 5 on the side? Does anyone think that cutting a stencil and holding it over the beam while shooting it with paint would work? Thanks, Bryce
 
Those decals were purchased from <a href="http://www.kkantiquetractors.com/products2.asp?id=20">K & K Antique Tractors</a>.

They were applied like any decal.

Cutting a stencil would work, but you might not get a "smooth" edge around the characters.
