Tractor Show

As I have said before, I am the president of the Southwestern Ohio Antique Tractor and Power Association. We have our show at the Butler County fairgrounds in Hamilton Ohio.

I would like to find someone to fill the following ideas.....

1) Dynometer. Looking for someone with a dyno to be a the show with it to test tractors. We can work this several ways.

2) Chainsaw carving artist. We had a guy who used to come, but hasn't, no one remembers his name. Would like to get someone who does this

3) Old time re-enactors. We used to have people who would "camp" at the show, and put on a display of living in primitive ways. Again, they didn't attend last year, no one knows how to contact them

If anyone knows someone that does these things, or are part of these things, PLEASE let me know, Thanks, Mike 513-461-9214

Also, We would like to have a draft horse pull. Would need someone with the sled and contacts to help do this. Any help is appreciated. thanks Again

Search on google or bing for 'rendezvous re-enactors' or ask in a gun shop, see if anyone knows how to get ahold of someone into that.
Same with a chainsaw shop, they should know of an artist or two.
A dynowhatever... dunno about that one... a community college might have one? Or search online for one of thise to shop up. Good luck!

At our local show we have a dyno hooked up to a flat pulley for belt use. It's probably not accurate for horsepower but it does make a varying load. Jim

Wow, Mike. I don't know how to help here, and I wish I could.
We have a nice local show here too, and we all love it.
I don't mean to be rude or insulting, but if no one even remembers
these people's names, I'm not really surprised that they didn't just
come back on there own.
How long have you been involved in the club?
Are there previous members who might know these folks and how
to get a hold of them and find out why they stopped showing up?
Maybe just an invitation would help.
Home made pie usually doesn't hurt either! ;)
Best of luck, and thanks for keeping the shows going!

Sorry I am no help but wandered when your show is ? I showed sheep at Butler Co. all through my youth . Dad would drop me , my trunk and my sheep off the day before the fair and I did nt leave till the last day .

tractor pullers have dynos. If you know anyone who pulls ask them and chances are they will know someone who has one.

Our show is August 16, 17, 18 of this year. this is my first year as president. I have been a director for 2 years prior. The people who were responsible for these displays (our directors) are not involved with the show anymore. Royse, you are spot on. things had not been being taken care of right for a long time before. Trying to turn the boat around if you know what I mean. thanks, Mike

Attended the Antique Tractor Show that the boys in Piketon, Oh put on over the weekend. Lots of old red paint there. They had Scherer Wood Forest Chainsaw Art there carving up a storm. He had a bunch of finished product for sale there and it looked very good. I don't know where he was from or what he charges for a show, but here is the number of the show President-740.820.2458. Ask for Larry.

The butler county fair president has draft horses and always takes them out to barn and bunk for hay rides I would contact him he might no someone with a sled.

I hope to be in Vienna Ohio that week, at the Ferguson Expo....I might just be able to drop by and have a look at your show also!
Sam
