Tractor tires

I need 2 or 4 (if the price is right) 18-4-34 tires for my JD 4010. Any one know where the carlisle tires are made. Would like to buy American if I can. Used are ok too. Recommendations anyone? Bob[/img]

You may wish to buy American and you are to be congratulated for
that, but I can recommend BKT radial tyres as far as grip, self
cleaning and lack of wear is concerned. How they last in strong
sunlight I will probably never know as our tractors do so much road
work that tyres are changed too often to know.
Good luck with what ever you choose.

Thanks for the information Sam. I wondered about the BKT, about 1/2 of Goodyear. Mine is outside when working, then sheded. Sounds like you do some harvesting. Bob

I'm running Titans. Been on for 7 years. Tread still strong, front
lugs have some very minor cracks around the end of the tread in
the center of the tire; rears have no cracks. Keep the tractor
shedded.

Carlisle is made by Titan in the U.S., but only
implement and front (2wd) tractor tires. For rears
(and fwa fronts), they're Titan brand.
