So we're paying $4.29 for regular here in Michigan. They say the only place higher is Hawaii. Anybody else even close?

I"ll be heading to Michigan after the 4th of July to visit dad and the relatives. We used to take the kids on side trips to Mackinac Island, Traverse City, the dunes, the UP, and other nice spots. Now we just go to dad"s and drive as little as possible. Michigan"s gas prices must be killing the tourism industry. I just paid $3.40 in GA.

Darn BUSH and his rich oil buddies are all to blame, heck 4 years ago it was like $1.89????????????????

Bush has nothing to do with it. external_link said if he got elected the first time he was going to push for higher gas prices so that other things would be looked at harder and sure enough since he has been in gas has doubled in price

For some reason Alma is always cheaper. $ 4.07 for gas and $ 3.87 for Diesel. Luckily I had the Jetta Diesel and it only takes 13 gal, also luckily I get 600 mi on that. Chevy is comming out with their new Cruze diesel this fall and I predict others will follow but ONLY if diesel is less than gas. We know they won't lower diesel so what's the alternative? Raise gas. Chevy knows that to sell these they need diesel to be cheaper. They have the money (power) to make this happen in order to sell these things. If gas goes to $ 5.00 and diesel stays at around $ 4.00 , we know how the new diesels will sell. Mark my words.

3 months ago gas was $3.19 and then it went up to $3.99 just before Memorial Day..Now its fallen back to $3.65....This is 100 miles south of Kansas City,MO..

This evening our favorite eating place was half empty and lots of it is the high gas prices..

Cheaper everywhere in Alma? When I haul cattle to St Louis I usually stop and get diesel at the Sunoco at the Crystal corners on Stanton Road. They're generally cheaper than the Sunoco in St Louis. Maybe I should slide on over to Alma?

I know Rich, I just had to tease the abundant Progressives out there who blamed Bush for high prices when it was $1.89 but since the annointed one became King and it shot to $4.00, all of a sudden ITS NOT THE PRESIDENTS FAULT LOL poor misguided souls, pray for them and the USA is all I can say.......

Northern Indiana, Haven't left the homeplace for a coupla days. Gas average in Indiana is $4.12. The news blames the refineries shutting down for maintenance. I cannot belive that ALL of those huge tanks are empty at the refineries. Can you say rip off?

1.219/L locally. Equates to $4.61. The cheapest in Ontario is 1.109 (4.20/gal) Anything over 1.20 just makes me angry. Under that and I don't drive away angry as heck. Just one of my pet peeves.

All the stations out by I69 are $4.29, but this afternoon a couple downtown cut back to $4.19--what a bargain, almost makes me want to drive to town just to fill up!

Gasbuddy.com is showing $4.26 to $4.27 for central Michigan. Yeah, right as I'm starting the haying season. Not happy!

Central MN and metro was around 4.19+ a few weeks ago- cuz 2 refineries near Chicago shut down for repairs...(?)...a bit under 4 bucks now.

Gas was $4.00 a gal during the summer of 08 I remember because I drove to CA from the Midwest and it cost me a fortune. By Dec of 08 just after the "annointed one" was elected, it was 1.89
that was about the time the economy about crashed.
Did Rush have a good show today?

Came through town yesterday here on the Wis. / Mich. line and regular was $4.69 today it is $4.89. Sure hurts tourism.

Chandler,OK. was $3.59 this afternoon. This was pure gasoline,Not E10. The cheapest in a long time.

I didn't prices check today. Wednesday in central MN gas prices were down to $3.79 from $4.19 a few weeks ago. They were $3.29 ten weeks ago at Easter. July 4th is still three weeks away, around here gas prices always goes up for the summer high travel holidays.

I use a free app called "gas buddy" that compares prices anywhere you want. The EPA is to blame for requiring so many different blends for so many areas. This is because external_link wants to raise all energy prices. The left leaning scum and useful idiots that voted for him agree.

A tanker comes in with crude and leaves for Europe full of gas or diesel. The war in Iraq was to control the supply. It is kind of like Viet Nam. We had enough fuel for a war but later we did not. Now the summer blend is the reason but commodies are higher along with crude and heating oil.

The old Golden Rule, them who has the gold makes the rules. 5% of the world has the gold.

Hi
Up here in Manitoba Canada we are paying $5.40 for 4 liters (About equal to your U.S gallon ).
on the radio this morning, The news said the Canadian government was prosecuting Hershey and Mars for price fixing. every long weekend fuel up hear jumps 10 cents or so. Might be lucky and it drops back 3 cents after!.
It"s just pure B/S they can nail a company over price fixing a $1 Chocolate bar . But these A$$ holes fixing gas prices get away with it because it"s "NOT HAPPENING" according to our elected Federal and Provincial clowns !.
Regards Robert

3.62 in Ottawa, KS. We were down to 3.27 in April and I didn't fill the gas barrel. I'm kicking myself now. And carting gas from town for the mowers, cars, and gas tractors. The only thing I hate more that getting a full 5 gallon can of gas up on the hood of the Farmall M is knowing I could have bought those 300 gallons a lot cheaper. Ugh.

Two or three weeks ago gas went from $3.69 to $4.40 overnite, something about two refineries shutting down for maintenance, said it would be that high till after the 4th of July, today gas was down to $3.59. I think it was the fishing opener and Memorial weekend, diesel kind of stayed put, welcome to summer!

I paid $4.29 in Bristol, IN to fill the company truck. Heard in Chicago proper, is $4.65. But them folks in Chicago proper gave us the fella we have to survive another 3.5 years of, him flying around the world on a Boeing 757 and his wife flying around on her own Boeing 757 that we pay for as though they are their personal sports cars. I guess that I don't feel so bad for the folks of Chicago proper. Let them pay $20 a gallon as payback.

$3.39 in rural N. Tx. yesterday. Seems it's locally controlled. Around here we have basically one distributor that services all the stations, regardless of who, where, or what.....grocery store to full service. Prices are pretty uniform except as you'd expect the farther you get from civilization the higher it gets.

Mark

I filled my 150 gallon tank at walmart last week for 3.38.That's with the 10 cent discount if you buy there fuel card.Today it's 3.95.

Remember how everyone howled when gas went above two bucks a gallon? Sounds pretty good today. We will remember four dollar gas fondly when gas hits ten bucks a gallon.

Seen a letter from our local co-op saying that the pipeline termials is going to drop 87 octane unleaded and handle only 84 octane. Then I guess mix 10% ethonol to make 86 octane.

Up here in Sault Ste Marie Ontario gas is $1.32 a liter, times that by 3.785 is equals $4.99 a U.S. gallon. Highway robbery if you ask me.

I paid $3.69 for the cheap stuff yesterday. Considering NY State and the Feds get about 70 cents of every gallon sold in NYS, 75 for diesel, with absolutely no investment of any kind and the oil companies make about 9 cents actual profit per gallon....just who do you think is doing the raping?

(quoted from post at 10:39:54 06/08/13) Katrina did that one.

Now just stop right there, he wants everybody to think its Bushs fault and external_link is a savior so he spouts off twisted "facts". You are not allowed to bring in logic and reason to the conversation, you have to follow his lead and say bad things about Bush and only good things about external_link. Truth has nothing to do with anything, this is political....

Now that Katrina has been brought up, just wait for the claims that Bush caused problems by not "letting" the federal goverment help. Wait for it.... wait, its comming.....
