GSD, you responded to my char-lynn torque gen question. Mine looks exactly like yours, but, i do not have any numbers/model numbers to order mine rebuild kit from. Could you please post the nubers from your unit. Thanks you much gobble

Nope , no numbers. You will have to set up a continuing ebay search for parts for them. They were used on 55-59 Buicks, Cadillacs. They were also used on56-58 Studebaker Hawks, and Packards. I bought and sold a number of them when this info was not known by many restorers.

Thanks for your information. All of the foil with the numbers, is worn/removed from my unit. I think I have located the kit that would apply to my unit. Gonna give it a go. On the counter est. at the hydraulic shop was 350$. I'm not saying that was excessive, just more than I wanted to spend. I'm cheap and many times it is my downfall.
