Does anyone know if the 841 has a hydraulic filter and where it is at.My lift is not working,I have replaced gaskets and o-rings, drained Hydraulic put new in the right amount and still nothing.Pump sprays hydraulic about 2-3ft in the air so I dont think it is the pump and someone said they thought it could be the filter. Please HELP!!

CJ, welcome to the forums.
I don't own an x01 series tractor, so I'm not sure if it has a filter.
The earlier ones did not. They did have a draft/position control
selector under the seat on the right that you may want to try in
both positions to see if it makes a difference.
If you post this on the Ford forum here on YT, you'll definitely get
the right answer.

NO filter. But many things can cause that. Relief valve bad, leak in the high pressure tube, bad cylinder rings etc etc. By the way if you have say 30PSI fluid will shoot all over but with out the correct PSI you have no lift so installing a pressure check gauge is the only way to know what your pressure is

i just went thru this on my '62 2000...the unloading valve was stuck and worn...i picked up a complete used cylinder and swapped it out...new parts are available from whatever Ford is calling itself these days and they are proud of them $$$$
