1999 Ford 7.3 filler neck

Has anyone ever tried to modify the factory filler neck to except a large trucker nozzle and how did you go about it? Also will doing this set off any codes or lights?

Just changing the filler neck won't help a whole bunch. You need to change the vent coming out of the tank too. Easiest way I found, was to buy a goat.

Why don't you just get a milker inflation and slip it on the fuel nozzle and then it will fit in the tank. you may have to run the fuel in a little slower but at least you can get it in the tank.

I realize that you are talking Ford, but just an FYI, used the large truck fill on my '04 Dodge dually, but due to the increased flowrate/turbulence in the tank, the fuel level sensor float was knocked off it's arm. No fuel guage till I pulled bed and reattached float (PITA). Have since heard of 3 or 4 others having this happen. Not sure of brands. FWIW, Good luck.
