144a Sprayer Control Valves - Adjustment

Posted earlier about problems I was having on these valves. I recently replaced one with one just used a few hours. And the newest had the same problem of not giving a full output. I checked the out port by disconecting hose and it was obvious the valve was again not opening fully. I adjusted the armature stop on top of valve and it finally worked properly. It seems the factory is not adjusting these valves correctly. Maybe this might be of help to others.

Best thing we ever did was throw them away and buy the ball valves with a motor to open and close them. Either a TeeJet or the nicer Banjo brand. For a low pressure shut off, the 144a worked fine, but even one pressure spike would overload it and make it leak past the seals and then not work right.

The rotary ones have a ground, a full time power lead, and one switched power lead. They work great!
