The 2% remaining is sceens for protection from fodder getting in the wrong places? Looks real good, would love to see it operating. BTW, can you use it in less than 36" rows?

Don't know if anyone's interested but I was curious. How long would it take for a 4- 30" row picker to fill a wagon with ear corn? With a modern head moving at 5 mph in 200 bu. corn in a half mile long rows, a round would take 12 minutes and cover 1.25 acres- in theory without allowing time for stops- which would yield 250 bu. (big wagon load for ear corn). For sure it would keep someone busy unloading wagons.

first Ford picker I've ever seen and its looking good, hope it works for you, I've always thought those 6000s have a unique look.

unfortunately I didn't get any of the fodder screens with this unit but thought my self fortunate to have gotten everything else

well its not a early model so its supposed to be blue, dad has a early model and its restored red and gray. I do have a toy model of a 6000 w/602 mounted picker and its red and gray, ironically ive had the toy several years and now have the real thing
