Ready for a road trip

Taking off wednesday to go to Denver for a wedding. I decided to make the most of the trip and i bought a Farmall F-30HAN off craigslist in Alamosa Colorado. Gonna pick it up saturday then head back east. I think i am going to go east out of LaJunta and make my way through Kansas. I will eventually make my way to SE NEbraska to drop off an engine to Nebraska Kirk for his WA-40 McCormick he just got.

Am i going to be traveling by an YT'ers along the way?

I know I will kind of be in DeltaRed's territory when i pick up my F-30
 
He is on the western part. Just mite want to stop in Rocky Ford there are two salvage yds there one south of town and the other is on the east side rite on US 50
 
Ya and more than likely right past my place in Salida, CO. Maybe we could get Delta Red to buy lunch. Ha Ha. Let me know it you have time to stop by, and I can give you directions. You could leave the F-30 here.
 
Alamosa is quite aways from me.....By all means stop
at Rocky Ford and LaJunta.Muth Welding is on the
east side of RF,Allen Goodman is at another Muth
yard 3 mile south of RF.King Tractor is just west of
LaJunta.Drive safe....Steve
 
OK Delmar,You bring F-20 to Delta and I WILL buy lunch....Maybe even meet somewhere between.Steve

I actually have to pick up an McCormick 10-20 engine in Ft Collins on friday :lol:
 
I think my email is turned on in Modern View in one of my posts if you care to email me for directions. Can't figure out how to turn on the email in Classic View.
 
Wednesday the Tractor Relay Across Nebraska will be
traveling from Cozad to Kearney on US 30 They will
overnight at the fairgrounds in Kearney and then
head for GI Thurs morning.

Are you going Howard??

we are leaving wednesday after 4 so we only plan to make it part way through knee-braskee before stopping for the night. Id love to see the relay but might want to stay out of town for fear of not getting a hotel room.... :lol:
 
There are lots of rooms in Kearney. And most of the
Relay drivers only drive one day so we don't use a
lot of rooms. The BRAN bike ride is in Kearney that
night too. I bet they use more rooms than we do.

My trip planner (wife) said we are going to pick up the engine thursday on our way down to Lyons. then we have a rehearsal dinner that afternoon.


she sure is cutting into my tractor chatting time!! :shock:
