trucking costs

I'm inclined to bid on a barely used Kobota 7040 HDC on Tractor House. The unit would need to be trucked from Paris TN to the Albany NY area, a little over 1050 miles. The Kubota w/cab & loader would perhaps weight about 6000 to 6500 pounds. What should I expect in terms of cost per loaded mile? Thanks.

Long meadow ...
Where we you located.
It appears we have a decent contingent up here.
I am in te esperance area, jayinny is in duanesburg, Loren the ACG is a little west...billy ny is in cobleskill...
You?
A.so I am no help for trucking, just saw albany.

How the heck did I end up over in Cobleskill, I better take a walk outside and check in case those darned house movers worked a nightshift and did it again, last time, I ended up in Bennington Vermont LOL !!!!!!!!!!

Nope, view looks the same, I'm east of Troy by about 3 miles.

If you are patient and can get it on a load with a few others around $1/$1.50 per loaded mile.By itself semis usually get about the price of diesel per loaded mile [$4]I have a diesel pickup with trailer and it cost $.50 a mile for fuel alone.Try hauling schedule under community at left.Try U-Ship on Shipping Wars reality show they might pay you as fake as that show can be.Helps to be able to get it picked up at dealership and also unloaded as there is usually good access to these facilities.

Well, I live near Paris,TN and I am running empty to Williamsport, PA to help my brother move to WY on June 21st. I have a one ton truck and a 18 foot trailer. I am not a professional hauler! Just an honest country boy heading that way. My email is [email protected]. I'll give you my phone number if you want to try and see if we can make that work. Good luck- Ryan

Boy getting close to home here this morning. As I sit I am 24 miles from the tractor. I sold the tractor new. Still a nice unit. I have a few numbers for you but IF you are not time sensitive and have a week or so usually somewhere around $1.50 or less per mile will get it moved.
Go to u.ship .com or something like that you will get all kind of bids.

I think so, well more so on the outskirts, I'm in the city zip code, so I think mine count as being in troy, well wait a minute my long time farmer friend has a few, he's closer to the city line than I. LOL !

Where has LJD and or JDEMaris been, never get these forum spats if that was the case or what have you. He always posted enjoyable content like so many others do, well I guess you can't win em all, but it is nice to hear from those within a local radius just as much as those from across the country.

Longmeadow Farm is located between Fonda and Johnstown NY, overlooking the beautiful (I'm biased) Mohawk Valley/River. We farm around 275 acres.

JM, thanks. What did the owner do with this unit?. The tires are a bit worn down for 1300 hours? Road work I presume. I just registered to bid and will call tomorrow for the info I seek. I see where this 7040 has a single SCV.. I need at least dual SCVs.. is it difficult to add additional SCVs on these cab versions... never owned a Kubota.
