Big two cylinder auction

Howdy folks,

Didn't know if you all knew about this one but
there is a big auction up in Michigan right now
that has a bunch of the big two bangers (70, 720,
and 730 standards as well as 80s, 820s, and 830s).
It's an online auction and right now the prices

I shouldn't have looked at this.. So many things I want on that list ans reasonable prices.. DO you have any background on this?

Hi Jim,

I don't have any background other than what I looked up. I saw an ad for it in farm world and looked it up. The ad didn't really say what was there and it intrigued me so I investigated. I was like you until now. I don't want to drive that far and have to figure out a way to get it loaded up there and pay as much as these are probably going to bring. They were pretty much all under $1000 until the last couple days. I did read on the website that you have to load the stuff yourself. It's being conducted like a government surplus auction in that sense. The guy who owned the stuff was busted for investment fraud I learned from a news website. I guess he was taking the customers'money and buying this stuff to resell for a profit. God bless.

Looked like some pretty high numbers to me given the pig-in-a-poke factor...
The one 820 or 830 was a tandom set-up but the pictures weren't good and they said it was connected to asset 708 or 780 or something but when I looked for that one couldn't find it?

...OR...you can save your money for Ted Klee auction in Eaton Rapids MI on Aug 2 & 3rd. Many very nice originals along with restored. Any size you want. Lot of rare ones and tons of parts and implements. Polk is handling it and it's all listed on their auction site. I have been personally "toured" through his collection twice and let me tell ya, if you want a "keeper" this is the sale to go to. He is a fussy , no junk and no fakes person. When I was down there he had over 70 tractors. May be down some since then but still a bunch. I bought a 4B plow and some "B" grills from him and he is a pleasure to deal with.
