Just got my tower computer back. Don't know how you guys with laptops ever get used to those mouseless things. This thing is like coming home again.

I have gotten so used to the touch pad, I had to go back to a mouse computer the other day. Hard to make the transition. Gotter done but my hand kept reaching for the touch pad. gobble

I use a laptop most of the time, but with a mouse. Touch pads seem clumsy to me, and if I was doing much design work like I used to, I'd have a separate keyboard too. Row of numbers at the top of the keys is clumsy.

i have a mouse and keyboard hooked to my laptop at the shop too!!! clumsy hands hittin too many buttons. i also have an old e machine circa 2001. everybody hates it because its "slow' well, i aint in a hurry. my old hp just got out of the shop after a major crash, then it blue screened and crashed again. i hate computers!!!

My old tower XP bit the bullet a few days ago and had to switch to a small Acer laptop with Visa in it. First thing used a cheap wireless mouse.
Looks like Windows 8 is the new models and will have to reeducate myself to a new style. After looking things over I ordered a Apple Mac Mini instead. Going that route I can use my old mouse, monitor, keyboard. My thought was I have to learn a new style anyway and my friends with Apple never complain about viruses and computers slowing down etc. Time will tell.

I use a separate mouse and a full size keyboard when ever I can with a laptop computer. They are easier for me to use and if they go bad I can replace them much easier than repairing the ones built into a laptop.

I am going back to a laptop shortly. Take up much less room than a bulky tower. One Logitech wireless mouse and you are in business.

I use a laptop a lot. First thing I had to do was buy a real mouse for it. That little touchpad thingy dont cut it for big fingers.

Most all laptops have a 10 key number pad built into the keys
that you can turn on and off at will.
The newer, larger ones have a dedicated 10 key pad as well.
My issue with the later ones is that it sets the keyboard off to
the left of center to make room for the 10 key pad.
Hard for me to get my hand placement right.
