Anybody have a 20 hp Kohler

I have a Kohler command 20 hp engine and I need a couple of rocker arms for it.
Local dealership brought in a set but the design has changed since the mid 90's when my engine was made.
Major grief and half a dozen calls later still can't match them up.
The data plate on my engine is wiped clean and they are having a hard time finding a model or spec number to order parts for.
Anybody with one of these engines from the mid 90's I would really appreciate anything a model/series/spec/build number then we can look it up online to see if it is the style we need.
My engine is a two cylinder overhead valve 20 hp horizontal shaft command series.
Grain augers? lawn tractors? Generators? Pumps?
Any help would be great.

The engine came off a grain auger, I customized it onto a Case 442. Cuts grass like a dam on one cylinder, should pop wheelies with both firing.

Terrimite put a 20 hp command on their compact loader backhoe, T5C. Mine is a 2004 and it has hydraulic lifters. Will my numbers be of any help?

Small engine warehouse told me that my engine was somewhere around $1500. I figured if my engine when south, I would just buy another.

George Yours would be too new, from what I have learned they changed the design of the rocker arm and the pivot, even if I ordered in the new style pivots and bolts to go with the newer style rocker arms they sent me I would have clearance issues with the valve covers.

Here is a long shot and time consuming.

Go to Kohler Command 20. Good illustrations if you think you would recognize the arm ?

Good luck, Bill

The mid nineties craftsman riding mowers had that engine. Maybe look at Sears online for parts cat. I had one, let me see if I still have the manuals for it.

Your suggestion to look on partstree.com seems to have helped, the parts I need although obsolete are at least shown on there, they do have a kit to upgrade my engine to the new style rocker arms so I will call in the morning.
Thanks to all for your input.

I have a newer model Kohler Command 20 hp mounted on a
Husqvarna lawn mower I bought from Lowes. it's a single cylinder
and like others I am finding out, the head bolts work loose. Not the
least bit happy with the engine nor the legacy of the badge that
seems to have gone to pot.
