Planting With The Gopro

Not a lot of time to waste playing with cameras when I'm planting crops but I had to see what the new Gopro hero 3 would do on the air seeder. It shoots a nice clear video but I see it lost some quality in the editing process.

When I looked at the video I thought it looked like Canada. Then I noticed you're from Saskatchewan. Been in SE Saskatchewan when we went through the crossing at Portal. Nice country. Jim

Here's a clickable link. Rusty6
Royse, thanks for making the link. One of these days I might figure out how to do that. Here is another video from a few days earlier with a musical sound track that some might recognize.

My son has a go pro. I couldnt get windows media player to play mpeg-4 videos. It is the latest version too. Had to use real player.

Really? Windows 7 works for mine every time. The videos are a pretty big file but I have never had a problem working with them in windows movie maker or media player.

Great video Rusty6... How many feet is the
bourgault? I'm pulling 27 ft of wil-rich cultivator
and a 2155 tank with a MF3670 mfd (190hp on the
shaft). Will be pulling a liquid cart next year too,
local fert dealer has hard liquid tank issues the
last year, so no liquid available nearby... pulling
an extra tank makes her grunt a bit in the hills
(i'm on the south side of Riding Mountain National
Park).

We crossed into the US at Portal, ND a few years ago, then headed east on route 5 (I think)--28 miles without a turn! WOW, this old Michigan farmer never saw country like that before.

Mines a 28 foot so no great load for the 7130. This is the first spring in quite a few years that we have not had to deal with mud so I could probably have pulled a bigger tank. At 6700 hours my dyna torque rear tires are getting a little low on tread so I have traction problems at times in the mud. I use dry fertilizer and put my anhydrous on in a separate operation.

I've always used Windows Movie Maker for editing video, but my last camera up and decided to start saving video as a quicktime video and I can't edit it, and the playback sucks. And I have no idea why it started that.
