Massey lawn tractors

I have managed to get a couple of MF lawn tractors to restore, they were never sold over here so there are no parts! Do any of you have an MF8 or an MF12(both with manual trannys) that you are parting out? or is there any company who breaks/parts out these tractors. I need some chrome hubcaps for both tractors plus some dash controls for the MF8. I will also need electric start parts for both tractors plus, plus, plus!

Suspect the motors were a more common make, Briggs, Kohler, Onan, etc. If you can find the motor"s origin, you can probably source the parts, especially electrical from manufacturer"s sources.

I know where 2 of them are, one in pristine condition sitting in the parts room at the local napa and one on a farm I rent. The one sitting one the farm is I believe a 10 and would be cheap cheap cheap for parts if you're interested. Send me a n email if interested. [email protected]

I mowed the barnyard yesterday with my 1970 Massey-Ferguson MF7. It's on it's third engine, now has a Tecumseh 10HP, which won't fit without some surgery. It's kind of ugly, but still runs and mows after 43 years. Bet there's a bunch of new ones that won't last that long. That old Peerless transmission is about bulletproof.

Gee Samn40 if I could find you some donors for parts....you know, MF lawn tractor parts for Bushmills!!

MF 12 had a starter/generator that was belt driven on early models. Late had automotive style with flywheel alternator for charging. Have some for parts, not sure what is left though.
