Cost of Corn in Florida

Anyone here that lives in Florida what is the cost of a dozen Ear of corn there now. The reason i ask at least 3 local markets are selling a dozen Fla sugar sweet under 2 bucks a doz. When our local corn is ready it runs 6 bucks or better a dozen, and does not need to travel 1500 miles.

Wow, at that price I just might try some Florida corn too.

Walmart has had real good corn for 10 cents a cob, can't grow it for that. I felt so sorry for the skinny deer up at the cabin I threw them a couple of ears!
