Extending hitch

I"m having an issue with my disc getting into my duals when turning, the simple solution would be to knock the duals off but I still need them and I"m not a fan of taking them off and on.

How would you folks go about this? Make an extention for the tractors drawbar? Or make a new "clevis" for the disc?

Ill try to toss up a couple pics but its been awhile since I"ve done that. Hope it works.

Extending the hitch would help, but giving yourself a little room so you don't NEED to turn as short will help even more.

Every tractor/disc combo I ever drove would put the tires into the disc if you didn't pay attention.

I dont have a picture, but I lenghtened the hitches on both my disk and rollerharrow(pulvimulcher).Works well, fairly easy to do.Added about 2 feet or so.As was said allow a little more turn room on the ends.

Pull the Ubolt that is keeping the drawbar centered. Let the drawbar swing. It makes for better turning.

That will work good on flat land but in our hills it will cause more interference depending on which way you are turning.

I don"t know if it would put too much pressure on the rear end of the tractor, but why couldn"t you get another draw bar and bolt it on top of your drawbar to get the extra length you need. It looks like you have two small holes in front of the draw pin hole. If you can"t find a used drawbar you should be able to get some steel the size you need.
