bobcat 743 diesel

I have a bobcat 743 with the Kubota diesel in it. When it is idling, it has a steady miss on one cylinder. If I give it some fuel (about 500 rpm faster) you can hear it start to hit on the cylinder that"s missing. Is that an injector issue? Are they known for that? Is there a typical cylinder that is known for going bad?
Thanks guys, I always appreciate your input.

Can only be two things. Low compression in one cylinder, or bad pump / injector
